Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the services provided by The Grand Bhagwati (TGB), Ahmedabad. By booking a room, dining at our restaurants, attending events, or accessing our website (www.tgbhotels.com), you agree to abide by these Terms. If you do not accept these Terms, kindly refrain from using our services.

1. Reservation Policies

  • Booking Process: All bookings must be completed using valid and current payment details. Once confirmed, a reservation confirmation will be sent to your registered email.
  • Reservation Confirmation: While we make every effort to honor confirmed bookings, we reserve the right to cancel or modify reservations due to unforeseen circumstances, including system errors or overbooking.
  • Modifications & Cancellations: Reservation amendments must be made in accordance with our cancellation policy.

2. Payment Terms

  • Charges: Your invoice will include room charges, applicable taxes, and any additional services availed (e.g., in-room dining, valet, or banquet services).
  • Accepted Payment Methods: Credit/debit cards, bank transfers, UPI, or other accepted methods at the time of booking.
  • Advance Payment: Certain promotional rates or special packages may require full prepayment or a deposit. Please refer to specific rate conditions during booking.

3. Cancellation & Refund Policy

  • Non-Refundable Bookings: All room reservations are non-refundable and non-modifiable.
  • Advance Payment: All advance payments received are non-refundable under any circumstances.
  • Non-Guaranteed Reservations: Held for up to 48 hours from booking unless confirmed with full advance payment.
  • No-Show Policy: Failure to arrive without prior cancellation will be treated as a no-show and will incur a 100% charge of the total booking value.

4. Check-In and Check-Out

  • Standard Check-In: 12:00 Noon
  • Standard Check-Out: 10:00 AM

Early Check-In:

  • From 09:00 AM: Complimentary (subject to availability)
  • Between 06:00 AM – 09:00 AM: ₹2,000 + taxes
  • Before 06:00 AM: Full additional night charge at booked rate

Late Check-Out:

  • Until 12:00 Noon: Complimentary (subject to availability)
  • Between 12:00 Noon – 06:00 PM: ₹3,000 + taxes
  • After 06:00 PM: Full additional night charge at booked rate

5. Guest Conduct

  • Behavior: All guests are expected to maintain decorum and refrain from disturbing others. Disruptive behavior, illegal activities, or violations of hotel policies may lead to eviction without refund.
  • Damages: Guests are liable for any damage caused to hotel property during their stay.
  • Lost Items: The hotel is not responsible for loss or theft of personal belongings. In-room safes are provided for valuables.

6. Alcohol Policy

  • Prohibition: As per Gujarat state laws, the consumption and possession of alcohol are prohibited unless a valid liquor permit is obtained.
  • Permits: Guests are responsible for securing a liquor permit if they wish to consume alcohol within their rooms. No alcohol is allowed in public/common
  • hotel areas.

7. Smoking & Pet Policy

  • Smoking: The hotel maintains a non-smoking policy across all indoor areas. Smoking is only permitted in designated outdoor zones. Violation will result in a cleaning fee.
  • Pets: Pets are strictly not allowed on hotel premises.

8. Visitors Policy

  • Registration: All outside visitors must be registered at the front desk with valid identification.
  • Visiting Hours: 10:00 AM to 08:00 PM
  • Guest Responsibility: The registered guest is fully responsible for their visitor’s behavior.
  • Access: Visitors are allowed in public areas (lobby, restaurant, banquet halls). Entry to guest rooms is restricted and may require additional approval.
  • Fees: Extended visits or overnight stays may incur extra charges.

Security & Monitoring

Hotel security reserves the right to monitor visitor movement for guest safety. Any suspicious or unauthorized behavior will be dealt with strictly.

9. Outside Food & Beverage Policy

  • Policy: Outside food, beverages, and online food deliveries are strictly prohibited within the hotel premises.

10. Liability Disclaimer

  • Limitation of Liability: TGB is not liable for personal injury, loss, or property damage during your stay, except as mandated by law.
  • Force Majeure: We are not responsible for failure to deliver services due to unforeseen events beyond our control (e.g., natural disasters, pandemics, government restrictions).

12. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of India and the State of Gujarat. Any disputes shall fall under the jurisdiction of courts located in Ahmedabad, unless resolved through mutually agreed arbitration or mediation.

13. Updates to Terms

We may revise these Terms periodically. Updates will be posted on our website and are effective immediately upon publication. Continued use of our services constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
